McGuigan Wines is offering one lucky cricket fan the opportunity to become the Official Ashes Vibe Master, and yes, you’ll be paid to do it! You'll get tickets to the Ashes Tests in Melbourne and Sydney, and your job is simple: settle one of sport’s biggest debates once and for all – which city delivers the ultimate Ashes fan experience?


 

THE JOB

We’re hiring one fan to be McGuigan Wines’ Official Ashes Vibe Master for the summer. You and a guest will attend:

  • Days 1 & 2 of the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne
  • Days 1 & 2 of the New Year’s Test in Sydney

Your responsibilities include:

  • Compare the crowd energy – chants, cheers, and Mexican waves in Sydney vs Melbourne.
  • Review the full fan experience – from the stands to the fan zones, including costumes, signs and celebrations.
  • Capture the match-day feel – how wickets, sixes, and tense moments shift the atmosphere in each city.
  • Pair each city with a wine – choose the McGuigan varietal that best reflects Sydney’s vibe and Melbourne’s vibe.
  • Deliver the verdict – crown which Test deserves the title of Ultimate Ashes Fan Experience.
  • Spread the vibe – create content for both your socials and McGuigan Wines’ pages as the Official Ashes Vibe Master.
